Heidfeld drives the Arrinera

March 2017

Shelsley Walsh is the oldest still operating motorsport venue in the world. On March 26th the famous hillclimb course hosted an event from the Chronos & Cars series, organized by Omologato Watches.

The participants had the opportunity to meet in person such guests as former F1 star and current Formula E driver Nick Heidfeld, racing legend Richard Attwood, WEC driver Marino Franchitti, James Hunt’s son Freddy Hunt, and a young star of British racing, Katie Milner. The famous drivers took to the hill on demonstration runs, with Nick Heidfeld becoming the third person in the world to drive the Arrinera Hussarya GT race car.

The former F1 driver liked the Polish car and drove it with his usual gusto. Two prototypes of the vehicle are still undergoing exhaustive testing in the UK prior to the Arrinera’s race debut.
